Lakeland Care CME

The purpose of the Lakeland Care CME program is to provide diverse, evidence based educational opportunities that increase physician competence, enhance practice performance, promote patient safety, and improve patient outcomes within our Southwestern Michigan community.  

To offer numerous delivery methods of Continuing Medical Education via interactive didactic lectures, panel discussions, multidisciplinary cancer conferences, and enduring materials. 

Lakeland Care CME provides Continuing Medical Education to Physicians, Residents, Mid-level Providers, and other healthcare associates. Lakeland Care CME is accredited by Michigan State Medical Society.

The Weekly CME Grand Rounds, are held on Thursdays from 12:00 noon – 1:00 PM, Labor Day through Memorial Day.  These programs are held live in the Upton Center at the St Joseph hospital and are also live streamed. All lectures are available as enduring material on the Lakeland Care Network e-learning platform, COMET (Continuing Online Medical Education and Training) for enduring CME education
