What are the changes coming August 1?
*Priority indicates that there is no change to the process for authorization requests that run through TurningPoint and EviCore or to the drug authorization process. TurningPoint and EviCore will be integrated into the new provider portal, and providers will continue to use the Drug Information page for guidance on how to submit a drug authorization request.
What are some of the improvements coming with the new provider portal?
There are a number of changes coming with the new provider portal that will immediately improve your experience working with Priority. These include:
- A Member SnapShot feature that offers a fuller profile of the member’s health care history, with related claims and authorizations integrated
- Member Inquiry information viewable in other portal functions, like claims, authorizations, etc.
- The ability to submit claims directly in the portal
- An automatic active member list saved for your convenience
- A “benefits check” before submitting an authorization request so that you don’t waste time requesting authorization for non-covered services
- The option to check member eligibility and check claim status without logging in
What should you do before August 1?
Priority will be communicating frequently about these changes throughout 2026, so check your email inbox, prism notifications, Priority's news page and this Lakeland Care website regularly. Make sure everyone in your organization is aware of these upcoming changes too.
Account signup is scheduled to begin in June for Site Administrators (similar to prism Security Administrators) and in July for all users. Stay tuned for details.
What training and resources will be made available?
Priority is preparing comprehensive training and support for you. This will include:
- Training webinars coming summer 2026, with training videos available on-demand
- Materials like user guides and FAQs that can be emailed or printed
- Virtual “office hours” post-go-live to answer any questions you may have
