Meridian discovered an internal issue this morning, June 12, 2024. There were several claims denied for CHAMPs eligibility. Offices likely would have seen those denials as F6 or F7. Meridian was able to stop the majority of the claims prior to going out, but unfortunately some had already gone out denied. The problem was due to a broken internal file interface.
The issue started on 5/30/24 and was fixed yesterday 6/11/24. Meridian is currently validating the denials and will submit that reprocessing project by the end of this week. Offices should see those reprocessed claims within two weeks.
Offices do not need to send Meridian any claims. Meridian will be pulling a full impact and taking care of that internally.
