Lakeland Care Network offices have just today been notified of upcoming changes that will affect new credentialing applications this last quarter of 2023. This is due to new credentialing software implementation being implemented in late September 2023. Please read below the statement from the Corewell Health Medical Staff Office.

Dear Corewell Health Provider Credentialing Stakeholders:
During the month of September 2023, Corewell Health will be migrating to a new credentialing, payer enrollment and provider performance database. All three regions of Corewell Health will eventually use a single database for these functions. The go live date for Corewell Health South and West is September 25, and for Corewell Health East the go live is planned for January 2024.
During the month of September 2023, Medical Staff Services for South and West will not initiate any new hospital credentialing applications for Physicians, Advanced Practice Professionals or non-employed Allied Health Professionals so that we may focus on a successful data migration and go live on September 25.
If you have providers who need to be credentialed at Corewell Health South or West for a start date that falls during the last quarter of 2023, you should submit the application request form now and our team will be able to plan for that application and inform you about the status of providing an initial credentialing application to the provider.
