Attached is Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan and Blue Care Network’s 2022 Provider Incentive Program Quality Measure Descriptions document. This guide provides reference material to help Blue Cross and BCN providers achieve 2022 Quality Rewards incentives.
The Quality Rewards program supports Blue Cross and BCN in achieving the objectives of the Healthcare Effectiveness Data and Information Set, or HEDIS®, and the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services’ star ratings program. The medical codes listed in the attached document are from the NCQA MY 2021 HEDIS Value Set Directory.
The 2022 Quality Rewards incentives booklet was emailed to you on Jan. 19. Both the 2022 Quality Rewards incentives booklet and the 2022 Provider Incentive Program Quality Measure Descriptions booklet are available in the Resources section of Health e-BlueSM.

ICD-10 codes for HEDIS measures:
As in past years, we are not able to include all the applicable ICD-10 codes in the 2022 Provider Incentive Program Quality Measure Descriptions document. So, we have created an Excel workbook to supplement the 2022 Provider Incentive Program Quality Measure Descriptions document and the 2022 Quality Rewards incentives booklet. It is attached here. We hope that you can support your physicians by sharing this information with them as needed. You will notice that certain measures in the 2022 Provider Incentive Program Quality Measure Descriptions document contain the following statement: “Contact your medical care group administrator and/or provider consultant for more complete coding information.”
