Ever wonder why juries award millions or even tens of millions of dollars? Do you know what a plaintiff attorney looks for in a case file? Most physicians will experience at least one malpractice claim in their career. Even ones that look defensible can be challenging. Plaintiffs and their experts will scrutinize aspects like the care, communication, and documentation involved looking for weakness. In this seminar we will analyze the inner workings of claims through the eyes of a plaintiff attorney. Understanding how they present their cases will help us understand how documentation, communication, and other risk management techniques can influence the outcome of a case.
