Eating Disorders: In Primary Care Settings

Eating disorders are considered a public health problem and have the highest morbidity and mortality rates among psychiatric disorders.  Most clinicians and health care providers will encounter clients with these diagnoses, yet care giving this complex populations requires a multidisciplinary team approach, specific knowledge and an understanding of etiology and co-morbid conditions.
